Manufacturing Mechanical Maintenance Tech Job Duties:
Summary / Objective:
Unified Wire & Cable, LLC.
is looking for a candidate that has a strong work ethic, reliable, dependable and enjoys an ever changing and dynamic work environment.
This person would be responsible for performing highly diversified duties.
The ideal candidate would possess, a strong industrial or manufacturing mechanical maintenance background along with good analytical problem-solving skills and techniques.
Job Functions to include (But not limited too):
Can understand and read a blueprint, mechanical (electrical a plus).
Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
Maintain operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance (PM's) requirements on but not limited to pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, steam vessels, belt and chain driven systems, pump systems.
Locates sources of problems by observing both electrical / mechanical devices in operation; troubleshoot problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, hands and power tools.
Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Able to use hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production equipment and machines.
Perform simple machinist duties.
Provide unscheduled repairs of production equipment and machines.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
