Visiting Angels of Dekalb has been helping seniors in our surrounding community for more than thirteen years and is hiring for two part time schedulers.
Each position has the option to be made full time with caregiving shifts.
The right candidate may be considered for full time Scheduler.
As a Visiting Angels Scheduler you ensure that the clients receive the best possible care from our compassionate and capable caregiving team.
The scheduler has an important position, and is designed for someone who is caring and able to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
The right candidate must be able to work well under pressure, remain attentive to details while facing a challenge, and think creatively.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling on-going shifts, keeping schedule current and up to date Finding replacement Caregivers for call outs Matching Caregivers to Clients Needs & Schedule Responding to Email/Text/Phone Skillfully On-call after hours during weekends, weeknights (in rotation with other staff) Fill in emergency Caregiving shifts Understanding and Following Company Policy Skills/
Qualifications:
Attention to detail CNA Preferred Phone Skills / Communication skills / Customer Service Able to effectively utilize computer system for tracking and managing agency activities Effectively performing multiple tasks rapidly one right after the other Documentation and follow through Ability to collaborate and work as a team Willingness and drive to problem solve Ability to work in fast paced environment Receptive to instruction and feedback Present a professional image and conduct Must meet all Agency requirements, including but not limited to passing a thorough criminal background check, social security number verification and pre-employment drug screen.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
