The GIS Manager oversees the professional design, implementation, management, and maintenance of the enterprise-wide Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and strategies to accomplish City goals through GIS initiatives.
This position will serve as an active member of the City's Development Team and requires independent judgement, initiative, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while managing multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
We require a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience designing, supporting, developing, and implementing geographic information system and proficiency with the ESRI suite of software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Apps, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
Bachelor's degree in geographic information systems, geography, information technology, cartography, or closely related field.
Experience in a local government or utility setting preferred.
The salary range for the position is $73,326 - $89,824 - $106,177.
Salary and placement within the range will be commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience.
