in DeKalb, IL.
The Sales Specialist will be full-time with up to 48 hours per week.
Monday through Saturday, 8am to 5pm.
This is an in-person position only.
Responsibilities:
Respond to and prospect leads for customers interested in classic cars for sale, consignment agreements, or car storage.
This must be done in a prompt and timely manner.
Leads may be generated from a number of source, including:
social media, the company's website, email, phone, or in-person.
Post cars for sale by Classic Auto Factory on the company website and other online locations.
Ensure details are maintained and kept up to date at all times.
Remove postings promptly once sales are final.
Ensure the postings are high-quality, error-free work (especially regarding the photographs and description of the classic car itself) Work up proper documentation once a sale is complete (including purchase agreements and documentation of the transaction).
Provide this information to all key parties in a prompt manner with no delays.
Issue invoices and collect payment as outlined in the agreement.
Maintain regular communication with customers to keep them informed and aware of latest developments regarding their purchase or consignment agreement.
Provide customers with agreements for car storage.
Work with customers to sign agreements, and issue them monthly invoices for storage, as outlined in the agreement.
Keep up-to-date details on current inventory and potential leads.
Enhance the image of the Classic Auto Factory, increasing our brand and the public's awareness of the business.
This may be through social media (like showcasing customer rebuilds and our mechanics' great work on our website) or in person (like attending local classic car events throughout the area)
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years experience in sales and customer relations, with a preference for those having sold automobiles previously.
Familiarity with MyTax Illinois and Title Clerking Expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Forms, and other modules) Strong negotiation skills, resilient, deadline and detail-oriented, strong problem-solver and able to work independently Job Type:
